The post devolution rules introduced a set of 48 forms to be filled in by different Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs). Filling up these forms is cumbersome process as data required in different forms is of repetitive nature.
At many places the budget was being prepared in word format and then converted into excel. The repetitive nature information was entered different on different forms hence resulting in errors. Casting errors are also made which in turn reflect the wrong budget figure.
Keeping this in mind Contech International developed a software named FinSoft® which is a budgeting and financial management toolkit'. FinSoft® is a user friendly software where the user enters data once which is placed elsewhere as required by different forms. This helps the user to prevent entering the same data at different places hence reducing errors. The auto casting functions prevents casting errors. The software has following specific features:
