Dr. Naeem uddin Mian is an International Consultant and has vast experience in the field of public health planning and management. He has visited and studied a number of health systems including those of Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and United Kingdom. As Executive Director Special Projects, he headed foreign assisted projects of the Department of Health, Government of Punjab.  As In-charge of the Health Sector Reform Unit (HSRU) of the Department of Health, developed Long Term Vision (10 years plan) for health and supervised operations research studies. Evaluated preventive programs and prepared project proposals for multi-million-dollar investment in health sector. Represented Pakistan at international health forums, actively contributed to health policy formulation and health sector reforms both at national and provincial levels. As Health Specialist and Team Leader of Contech International, he has been managing a number of sizeable projects covering vast geographic areas and has undertaken various assessments and evaluations. He has vast experience in the following: 

- Health Policy and Planning 

- Project Management: planning and scheduling program activities 

-Procurement and Contract Administration 

- Consultants: Supervising the work of consultants 

- Goods/Equipment & Civil Works 

- Financial Management 

His rich experience in health planning and policy has provided him an ample opportunity of being a member of various health forums and groups, working at various levels. Recently he has been awarded fellowship of Faculty of Public Health, UK. He has remained Health Commissioner, Punjab Health Care Commission); Member CM Steering and Cabinet Committee for Improving Health Service Delivery, Punjab; Chairman Board, Pakistan Drug Testing Laboratory & Research Center; Technical Member Board for Punjab Agriculture and Food Development Authority; Chairman National Standards Committee on Healthcare, Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority.
